How to Install SSL Certificate in Plesk Panel? Print

Install a free SSL Certificate:

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Select Website & Domains from the left-hand menu.
  3. Locate and click the SSL/TLS Certificate button in the additional options.
  4. Click Install (Install a free basic certificate provided by Let's Encrypt. 
  5. Select the desired options for the certificate to be issued. We recommend enabling the checkboxes.
  6. Click get it free.

How to renew free SSL (Let's Encrypt):

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Locate and click the SSL/TLS Certificates button in the additional options.
  3. Select Reissue Certificate.
  4. Select Install beneath Install a free SSL Certificate.

Upload a Certificate you already purchased:

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Select Website & Domain from the left-hand menu.
  3. Locate and click the SSL/TLS Certificates button in the additional options.
  4. Click the Upload .pem file button. Then upload the certificate you already purchased.
  5. Select the .pem file on your local computer and upload the file.
  6. Click Upload Certificate when you have finished.

Download or removed existing certificates:

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Select Website &Domain from the left-hand menu.
  3. Locate and click the SSL/TLS Certificates button in the additional options.
  4. Click on the Manage button under the Download or Remove existing certificates.
  5. Click the Advance Setting.
  6. Click the download button next to the SSL certificate to download.
  7. Select the Remove option to delete the certificate.

Add SSL/TLS Certificate:

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Select Website & Domain from the left-hand menu.
  3. Locate and click the SSL/TLS Certificate button in the additional options.
  4. Click on the Manage button under the Download or Remove existing certificates.
  5. Click Add SSL/TLS Certificate.
  6. Scroll down to the Upload the certificate as text section and then paste each section from the certificate file into the corresponding fields.
  7. Click Upload Certificate.
  8. Go to Website & Domain and select Hosting Setting.* Under security enable the SSL/TLS support option.* On the Certificate option select the certificate uploaded in the previous step.
  9. Click OK.
